I had to read some other reviews to see if people felt the same way I did about this book. I found out several people did feel the same way I did. There's plenty of chaos here, violence, steamy sex scenes and filthy mouths.

ZZ aka Zig Zag aka Mason is another member of the Breakneck MC. He lives that lifestyle to the fullest. He takes care of his family despite his daughter's attempts to constantly test his patience and sanity. He balances this well enough but his focus is distracted because of Storm. Storm is a former sex slave that the MC rescued. She works for the Prez's wife and is enrolled in school for a business degree.

ZZ wants to take her to bed so bad but she rejects him at every turn. You see, she wants more. More than he is willing to offer her right now. She tells him he's gonna fall in love one day and it's gonna be with her. He insists that he has no desire to be a one woman man. She tries to date and he blows a gasket. He even runs her date off. You have all the elements of a Crystal Spears' book but it felt kind of scaled down. It wasn't as emotionally engaging as Seize me. It was emotional but not as much. It wrapped up some ends and opened more story arcs for this continuing series. I'm very invested in what goes on from here on out but I want the same intensity as Seize Me.

I hope that in the next book there is some of that but am scared because of Shadow being a sadist. That is one of my very least favorite story lines but I'm gonna trust her not to disappoint. Spears writes really badass heroines so Tatiana is going to be fun to read about and I await a release date.

Oh, man! Why did I devour this so quickly?

Book two starts with the funeral of the eldest son, Chad. Dornan is miserable and devastated over the death of his son. He's ready to go to war with whoever supplied Chad with the drugs that killed him. As Juliette/Sammi consoles him during his grief, she smiles on the inside. She's giddy with happiness. It's still very difficult to put my finger on what draws me to this series. I'm a romance reader and this isn't really as romance. I mean I see one continue to develop between her and Jase but how screwed up will they both be by the end of all this?

My heart breaks with the flashbacks of first loves, horrific loss and this woman's emotional and physical descent into the bowels of Hell. Seeing Dornan become more and more poised on the edge of lunacy is so extremely frightening. This book does some explaining as to the why of his obsession with Juliette/Sammi which was very helpful. As she sets her sights on Maxi, the next son in line she's gonna kill, your heart pounds and your pulse races. Can she pull it off? And what will she have to sacrifice of herself to do it? How far in the quest of revenge will she go?

I was reading a great historical book when I found out this was available and I immediately put the other book on hold and started this one. I figured that since historical romances are a balm to my soul, I'd probably need it after this book. I finished this book with a heavy heart and a small sense of satisfaction for her character. I can't wait for March 10th!

Two down, five to go.

When she dug her fingers into his shoulders on the side of the road as she gave birth to his nephew, their connection was set in stone.

Ruger(MC name)is a Reaper. Patched in and dedicated. Sophie is a single mother and broke. Ruger's step-brother is her baby daddy and a total deadbeat. Oh, and an abuser. Ruger has tried to be a part of his nephew's life and a semi positive role model to him. But his treatment of Sophie leaves a lot to be desired. He seems to look right through her.

Sophie loves her son, Noah more than anything. Sacrifices everything for him. Her parents disowned her after she refused to abort him, so she's all alone. After a near tragic occurence, she moves into Ruger's basement. The sparks between them crackle but their differences are huge. He's all club and she doesn't want anything to do with the club lifestyle.

When these two finally act on their attraction, fireworks happen. I loved watching these two come together figuratively and literally. Joanna Wylde has done it again. Totally engrossing storyline. I devoured it quickly. I love reading about this MC and it's members. Good characters and smokin' hot sex. Ready for the next one.

I'm shaking my head here. What a hot mess of horror! It's not a conventional love story. At all. It's a story of revenge and reckoning.

Juliette grew up in the MC world until the age of fifteen. Her life totally changed as did she. Her father is murdered, her mother is drug addict who didn't protect her at all. Her innocence is shattered in the most horrific of ways. A police officer smuggles her out of town where she starts her new life. She was reported dead so her rebirth as Samantha is now her life.

She takes several years to plan her revenge and she does down to the last detail. The men that changed her life will pay and pay with blood. It may destroy what's left of her soul and pave her way straight to Hell. You totally are her side even as you cry as she sells her soul to the devil almost literally. There's a lot of emotions in this short novella and you feel every last one of them. I think there will be a romance in the future in the story but not now. I will say that there's sex in this book but it's not hot because of the circumstances. It's a cliffhanger and now to my own horror, I have to see it through. I have to see if she makes Dornan and his seven sons pay.

Ok, I like biker books just as much as the next girl but seriously, this book was just boring. I had to force myself to read it. Ugh.

Jason is a biker and part of Storm MC. He had a thing with the President's daughter but ended because of some bad stuff going on after she was attacked. This broke her heart and started her down a very self destructive path of drinking. The club decided she needed to leave town for a while and she did. She made a new life for herself and cleaned up her act, somewhat. She was still kind of a slut but she did stop drinking.

Events from the past come up again and the MC said it was time for her to come home. I get why she did it but she seemed weak to me. I know love can make you all sorts of messed up inside but come on. I'd tell you her name but honestly, I can't remember it. That speaks volumes to me.

I don't know whether Madeline Sheehan ruined this book for because she's so wonderful or if it was really that boring.

This time we get Cage and Tegen's story.

Cage is the heir to the MC throne for the Hell's Horsemen. He's so much like his dad it's not even funny. His drinking and whoring definitely rival his father's. He has always taken care of Tegen. He was her first true friend in the club. These two grew up together and Tegen fell in love with him at age eight and never fallen out of it. Cage is a hot guy, very very hot. Women love him and he takes full advantage of that they have to offer. Over and over again. He has issues with his father because of his childhood and they slowly fester.

Tegen being raised in the club was a horrible thing truly. Her mother was a club whore but only to one biker in particular. She watched her mother love someone who in my opinion never truly loved her. This has taken a toll on both mother and daughter. After high school, Tegen moves to San Francisco to start her career and get over Cage. His selfish and callous ways have hurt her far too much. She isn't happy, she merely exists.

When Tegen is sucked back into club life you really feel for her because you know what it will once again cost her. She may have changed her looks but she can't change who or what she is. Cage is there as usual but now he sees her in a different light. As a woman he wants. Can she handle it? This story was heartbreaking at times, just like the other stories in this wonderful series. You also get a story about Dirty and Ellie. Dirty is of course another biker within the club and Ellie is Danny's friend from high school. Dirty's story is horrific and their love story is a hot mess. But the way the author writes, just makes it precious. My big compliment on this book is that there is no cheating. Tegen is sleeping with a gut in the beginning but they weren't committed. So, yay for me.

I can't say enough about this series or it's characters or this author's writing. I'm all in and only hope I can stand it until the next book comes out!

This story is about Ripper and Danny. Ripper is one of Danny's dad's bikers in his MC. Danny is a biker princess much like her stepmother, Eva. Her upbringing hasn't always been sunshine and roses though. Her parents' marriage was an elongated disaster and she and her brother just kind of floated through it. Living within club life was difficult but really all she knew. She loved Ripper for a long time and my god, the road was bumpy.

After Ripper's torture at the hands of a mad man, he was in a self destruct mode. He drank more and whored more than usual. One drunken night he and Danny went too far and everything was fubar from that point on. He never felt he was good enough for her and acted out. They kept their relationship secret much to the horror of Danny who wanted to shout it from the rooftops. I get why Ripper wanted to keep it a secret. Her dad would've killed him had he known. In an attempt to save her from his world, he takes off to parts unknown, leaving Danny to deal with the backlash of their relationship.

Very emotional situations take place in this book. I liked both characters but wanted to slap them both, as you often do in this series. But you just keep right on reading. It must be what crack is like because I just can't stop. Seriously, it's my latest obsession. I haven't been this excited or hooked on a series in a loooong time. I think about it constantly. It still tests my lines but I just can't quit.

I'm truly at a loss for words with this review. I think I need a mind scrub and maybe a visit to confession. I'm not Catholic and I'm not making light of religion but I may need some prayer time after this.

Deuce West is an outlaw biker. He lives this lifestyle with no apologies at all. He likes what he does. The drinking, the illegal stuff and the whoring. He has a meeting with Eva Fox when she is visiting her father in prison. Her father is a President of a rival but friendly motorcycle club. Eva is five at their first meeting and when she charms Duece's father at his visit with him, he's taken with her. Not a perverted kind of way either. He's intrigued because she, at age five, listens to classic rock, wears Chucks and wants to be a motorcycle club queen. Duece is eighteen years her senior.

This story continues to span these two character's lifespans. It usually skips ahead by five to seven years.

The things I liked:

The slow build of their relationship. The all consuming attraction. The look inside of the outlaw biker lifestyle, if this is an accurate description. The suspense of the book. The desire of the heroine to try and save everyone around her even as she stays true to what she is.

The things I didn't like:

Deuce is married through most of the book. The constant infidelity of almost every character.

This book was an interesting book to read. Good character development. It sucked me right in and didn't let go. Even when the storylines butted right up to and through my hard limits. If you want a raw, gritty, dirty, and emotional love story, read it. But be prepared for all that it is and that it makes no apologies for it.

Nicole is a straight laced and straight A college student. She hears this loud noise when she's waiting for her roommate, Lucy to come home. Lucy is a bit of a free spirit and wild as they come. Lucy has spent the evening with a group of bikers and tells Nicole all about it. Nicole has a boyfriend that might or might not be gay and dreams of having a man that would make her feel attractive and wanted. She suggests that maybe she'll go with Lucy the next time she hangs out with the bikers.

After the break up with her boyfriend, who I'm sure is gay, she agrees to go out with Lucy. Nicole is very excited but nervous, especially after Lucy has slutted up their outfits for the night. She is about to back out when she hears the roar of motorcycles. She then sees Jase, the VP, not that she knows what VP means in biker speak. He's a very hot man. She gets on the back of his bike and off they go.

This is a very short prelude to this series. I enjoyed it and will probably read on depending on the price of the other books. I'm on a bit of a biker bing lately and I'm devouring books in that genre. Maybe it's because Sons of Anarchy is over for the season but whatever the reason, I'm having a blast.

This is Jackson's story. He's the President of the MC and kind of a soft hearted guy. He has to make hard decisions that take their toll on him but he loves his club and his biker brothers. This story also continues with the suspense of the Hogan drama. After a girl crawls her way into the compound badly beaten, the club takes care of her and helps her rehab. Jackson allows her, Serenity, to stay at his home with he and his grown daughter, Addison.

Serenity has a HUGE secret. She's Hogan's daughter and she's a spy for her father. She has to get him info regarding Jackson and Spike's clubs so Hogan can destroy it. He wants to kill them all. He's threatened Serenity's best friend's daughter if she doesn't. After spending time with the club, she knows they're not the bad ones in this scenario. She builds friendships with the women in the club and really likes them. Her father is a monster who beats her constantly and her fear for the little girl is real. She also falls for Jackson, who is fifteen years her senior. She knows what will happen when he finds out she's betrayed him. So, she starts feeding her father wrong info to protect the club and the man she's grown to love.

I really enjoyed this book and this series. This is the last full length book of it but there is a novella featuring Muff. Yep, that's his name and yes you can guess what he likes. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants a scorching hot series with foul mouthed alpha males and just enough suspense to make it fun.

Spike is a biker and a widower. He lost his wife and unborn child when he got involved in some shady business dealings. This loss devastated him and then when his best friend, Ciara came out publically against him, it was even worse. He has his own MC (motorcycle club) and continuously tries to put the past behind him.

Ciara is Spike's former sister-in-law. She has loved him for as long as she can remember. She even loved him when she came out publically against him. She has been trying to make it up to him ever since.

This book pulled at me emotionally a lot. You have Spike's guilt for the loss of his wife and unborn child, his guilt for blaming Cade, his friend, and his abhorrent treatment of Ciara. What Ciara did, she did out of pain, what he did was unforgivable, almost. There was alot of clearing the past here. I mean you meet these two people in the first book of the series but you don't know the whole story until now. I liked Spike a little in book one but I loved Ciara. Her life was a life of never being good enough for her parents or her sister. Their treatment of her was abusive emotionally in my opinion. You also have Spike's need for revenge against the man who killed his pregnant wife. And most importantly, the story of two very damaged people, who loved each other all along, learning the value of self responsibility and forgiveness.

If you want a hot and I mean hot book, read this book. You need to read the first one too. In this book though, you get a group of hot bikers, a heroine who likes to be a little bad and hero with spikes pierced up his you know what that he likes women to take out with their teeth. Anne, I know you want to know about these spikes.

Addison has had a horrific upbringing. Truly horrific. She was raised by her junkie prostitute mother. She used drugs to escape her what is described as brutal rapes. After her mother's death, she searches out her father that she hadn't seen since her very young childhood. She knows basically nothing about him other than he's the President of a biker club, his name and that he never wanted her. But she has no place to go since she's on the run from her past.

Cade is the VP of her father's club and sexy as sin. He takes one look at Addison and decides he wants her. And he's not subtle about it either. He is sure she's on the run from something but not sure what exactly it is. He also loves her filthy sassy mouth. The road for these two isn't easy since they both have their demons. Not only their pasts but her dad is against them, since he wants a different life for Addison.

I've read other reviews about this book but I liked it. I liked it as well as I liked Motorcycle Man or Reaper's Property. Hot alpha males on motorcycles? Yes, please. I admit that there is some fascination for bikers for me. Probably, because of Sons of Anarchy, but the television is my only source of info about MC's, so if the descriptions in this book aren't accurate I'm okay with it. I thought the book was good and fast moving. Dirty sex scenes that were scrumptious. I'm all in on this series and can't wait to read the next one!

Anna Romo is the sister of Mike and Lucky. She disappeared when she was young and reappeared some twenty years later, trying to reconnect with the family she lost. She was kidnapped by a woman who wanted a child so badly she was willing to steal someone else's. We first met Anna in the last book, when she tried to take Amy's man. She bought an old Victorian style house on the outskirts of Destiny. She has plans to turn it into a bed & breakfast. She has done all the interior work herself but needs to start on the exterior, where she'll need some help.

Duke Dawson is her brother's best friend and she finds him living in the woods by her home. Duke is an ex-biker with baggage and a very noticeable scar. He agrees to help Anna do the exterior and the unlikely couple start a physical relationship. He doesn't want anyone to know he's in Destiny and she helps him keep his secret.

I had to make myself get into this book and I'm glad I did. I love the other books in this series but I really didn't like Anna because of her behavior in the last book. I wasn't crazy about Duke either in this one because he was kind of an ass and a pussy. He treated Anna badly I thought, regardless of his reasoning. Their love built slowly and the love scenes were steamy. But in my opinion, the real love story was between Cathy and Robert. Cathy was the girl who grew up in the house Anna bought and Robert was her first love. I was transfixed by their story with its innocence and purity. When I found out what happened to each of them, I bawled. Tears just rolled down my face. So to make a long story long, I ended up really liking the final book in this series. Anyone who loves small towns and the stories that come with them, should read the Destiny series. It's with a heavy heart that I recommend it, as I am very sad to see it all end.
